Directions for Use:

1.     Preparation: Ensure the paint surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Attach the required double-sided pad adapter to your rotary polisher. Securely thread the Pad Extreme Double-Sided onto the adapter.

2.     Cutting Polishing: Apply a moderate amount of polishing compound to the paint surface or directly onto the pad face.

3.     Speed Control: Use a variable-speed rotary polisher set at the appropriate speed for the compound and paint type (typically 1200-1800 RPM for wool but follow compound recommendations). Start with lower speeds and increase as needed, monitoring heat buildup.

4.     Passes: Work in overlapping passes, applying consistent pressure. Avoid excessive pressure or prolonged polishing in one area to prevent heat damage. Flip the pad to utilize the second side as needed when the first side becomes saturated, or its cutting ability diminishes.

5.     Residue Removal: Remove any remaining polish residue with a clean microfiber towel.

6.     Cleaning: Clean both sides of the pad regularly during and after use using a pad cleaning spur, brush, or compressed air. For deep cleaning, use a dedicated pad cleaning solution.
